Recently, Year 12 History A-Level students were treated to a talk by Professor Richard Toye. Professor Toye is a history lecturer at the University of Exeter, carrying with him a distinguished career in the study and teaching of history. One component of the History A-Level at Colyton is a study of Britain from 1951-2007, which aligns with one of Professor Toye’s specialist subjects, the political and economic history of Britain.
I spoke to one history student, Orlaigh O, on her thoughts of the talk:
“I found the talk by Professor Toye very interesting and enriching; it will no doubt be extremely helpful ahead of our January assessments.”
